Précision_sur la representation :	"La composition illustre l'une des Litanies de la Vierge, la Stella matutina (Etoile du matin) s'élevant au-dessus d'une nuée argentée, sur fond de gloire dorée ; la Vierge, vêtue d'une robe, d'un voile blanc et d'un manteau bleu nuit floratant, les yeux au ciel. La tête surmontée d'une étoile scintillante, porte l'Enfant blond et entièrement nu, esquissant le geste de la bénédiction ; à leurs pieds, peuplant la nuée, une douzaine d'anges enfants nus, brandissant un lys, formant une ronde ou jouant de la guitare et de l'aulos grec. Décor du cadre : guirlande de laurier mêlée de tournesols, course de ruban sur le bord inférieur."
