Historique :	L'oeuvre proviendrait de l'ancienne cathédrale de Dax et, avant son transfert de Dax, de l'église Saint-Pierre de Donzacq à l’occasion de son "nettoyage" ; elle a alors perdu ses deux mollets mais reste un témoignage très intéressant de la statuaire baroque en Chalosse, à rapprocher des statues de Momuy ou de Montaut.
