Précision_sur la representation :	Vue de la place des Platanes à Saint-Sever, prise depuis le bout de la rue du Général-Lamarque vers l'abbatiale Saint-Sever, dont on voit le clocher et le chevet, ce dernier en partie dissimulé par les platanes plantés au milieu de l'espace triangulaire de la place. De petits personnages des deux sexes, dont une femme portant une cruche sur la tête et une autre pompant de l'eau à une borne-fontaine, animent la scène.
