Historique :	La source est le portrait de saint Vincent de Paul en habit de ville exécuté par Simon François de Tours vers 1659 dont une copie subsistante, ayant appartenu à la reine Anne d'Autriche est actuellement à la maison maire des Lazaristes ; le livre est une originalité de l'oeuvre d'Aire ; l'auréole a-t-elle été rapportée après la canonisation ?

Précision_sur la representation :	Portrait en pied du saint provenant sans doute de l'ancien évêché ; les détails du textile indiquent le XVIIE ou le XVIIIe s. Saint Vincent de Paul a été canoniné en 1737 ; dans ce portrait rare saint Vincent ne porte pas d'enfant, mais pose la main sur un livre (règle de la congrégation des Lazaristes?).
